Visa requirements

Depending on your country of origin, you may need to obtain a short term visa for cultural visits before entering Denmark. To find out whether you need a visa, we suggest you follow the links to the Danish Immigration Service listed below.

How to apply

The Danish Embassy in your country of residence will normally handle visa applications for Denmark. The embassay is able to provide you with information as well. However, please be aware that in a number of countries Denmark is represented by another Schengen country

Please note that it takes currently up to 4 to 6 weeks to process an application for short term visas for cultural visits.

If you need a ‘confirmation of participation’ letter to facilitate the granting of a visa the Congress Secretariat may assist you with such, upon payment of the registration fee.
