Climate and clothing: Copenhagen enjoys pleasant springtime weather in May. Check the Danish Meteorological Institute for a weather forecast.

Currency and credit cards: The Danish currency is the "krone". One euro equals approximately 7.50 kroner. Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept major credit cards.

Insurance, including medical coverage: All participants have the responsibility to ensure themselves in connection with the travel to and from and participation in the conference, including medical coverage.

Health insurance: As a citizen of an EU country you are covered while visiting Denmark by public health insurance within the limits agreed upon between your own country and the Danish authorities. If you are a citizen of a non-EU country, you should ensure that you have adequate health insurance. In either case check with your travel agency or your insurance company.

Languages: Danish is the official language of Denmark, but many Danes speak excellent English.
